I woke up on August 22, 2009 incredibly anxious, I would be going back home to perform. I rushed to get ready, I did not want to miss my plane. As soon as we landed I had a million things I wanted to do, lucky I had Latif to keep me grounded. He wanted me to rest up until showtime. We decided not to stay at a Hotel so we would be able to spend more time with our friends. As usual Manny stepped in (one of Latifs very best friends) he offered us his house in Staten Island, we were set!! I got there and jumped into the pool, I wasted no time. Manny fired up the grill and made the most incredible spread, I didn’t know where to start. I had a glass of wine and I spent the next couple of hours on a floaty device in the pool. All day Mannys phone was ringing, the crew were on there way, woohoo..I love my girls! At 6pm I started to get ready, my hair takes FOREVER!! I was still anxious though seeing as I was keeping a secret from everyone. Their was one person I had showing up no one knew would be there. I’ve been communicating with her for over 1 year now and the vibes were always great between us. I felt it was time she came back out and did her thing, and so did she!! I had never met her in person even though our lives were so parallel. O.K. it’s 8pm I’m ready… I’m on point …I’ma do my thing. We couldn’t leave till she got to the house. In the back of mind I have a million thoughts swirling in my head, OMG is this gonna work, are we gonna click when we finally meet, I had nothing to worry about..we were more than good!!! She drove up , got out of the car and we hugged , this was a long time coming. We were meant to connect. My first thought was damn she is really pretty, do I really wanna put her on,lol. (I’m only kidding) We had no time to waste we were supposed to be onstage by 9:30, we rushed to the venue. Most people were doing their thing so they didn’t realize she was there, the people I did introduce her too were wondering why she was there. Alright it’s showtime. Latif comes up and preps me, he is so efficient, love you, mean it!! I get on stage it is so freaking on!!! The crowd is great I ‘m having an awesome time, but I knew I had my surprise waiting . O. K. I finished “My Heart Skips a Beat” , I hit the last note and put my head down . The lights dimmed OMG I did not see that coming “Go Latif ” it looked awesome. I heard the first notes of her music. All I did was pick up my head , look at the crowd and introduce her… Ladies and Gentlemen… please give it up for …Michelle Valentine. As I was walking off and she was walking on she had a look of determination, she was gonna do her thing . She wanted me to come back onstage during the adlibs at the end, I refused, I wanted her to shine like I knew she could. The crowd had a look of awe they didn’t know what was going on, she rocked that stage like she was just on one yesterday she totally killed it. The crowd lost their minds when she hit her note in the middle of the song. I was so proud of , it’s not easy coming back out after 10 years. Alright she finished her song I had to go back out and bring it all home “Show Me Show Me” yall!! After I finished I called Michelle back out, so she could thank her fans for such a warm response. This was something we never practiced and we put together in only two days, when it’s meant to be it’s meant to be. We both let our fans know we would be working together alot in the future, and were already making plans. For those of you not familiar with “Michelle Valentine” she is the vocalist on “Wishing on a Star” By “The CoverGirls”.
That’s hot Angel wish i was there too see it !! tell Michelle i said hello hope to see you guys soon tell ur man to put us on some shows together dammit !!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

I love you Angel OCG, please be careful…MV pretends to be sweet but she is an evil shady B. Please don’t do business with her! She told me personally she never wanted to do freestyle because its not her kind of music. She also told me that because she considers herself African American that she finds it hard to connect with the freestyle fans and music. I know you do freestyle because you love it, not for a check! Please be careful. Continued blessings. Guapo.

Hey Angel
Back in the 80′s,I was in the navy. We were deployed and was out in the middle of the Indian Ocean. We were able to get music videos to boost our moral,,,I was the night baker. One night, it was about 3am. I had just finished baking 90 loaves of bread. I sat down to watch some music videos, and they played the Cover Girls “Show Me”. You put a big smile on a heartbroken sailor’s face. It’s one of my favorite songs. I want to thank you. I hope to see you perform somewhere in New York City.
